Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a method of emotion regulation and interpersonal skills. It is rooted in cognitive behavioral therapy and mindfulness. These skills are evidence-based and found to be effective for many clients dealing with depression, anxiety, bi-polar, borderline and relationship issues, as well as other presenting issues. This is my favorite therapeutic method and one that I have seen to be the most effective in my work.
